The alarm went off at about 7.30pm while I was at the DM desk, so I looked
at the code and it was the fire exit onto Sauchiehall Street from the big
long staircase in between the CCA office and the creative lab.

I went to investigate and the door was wide open. There was no one in the
CCA office or the creative lab. This may be unrelated but seemed very
strange; the CCA safe room door was wide open too. I looked inside and
nothing is obviously missing.

I went up to the Cultural Tenants corridor and someone has propped open
the door which leads from the cultural tenants corridor to that stairwell
open with a water bottle cap. I spoke to Kim and Sharon in the IETM/List
office and Ninian who was also still working in his office, but none of
them had seen anyone. There was no one in any of the other offices.

Both doors to the cultural tenant’s corridor seemed secure.

I've had a look through CCTV footage and found someone entering the Scott
Street doors, pausing for a short time outside the CCA: Admin office
before accessing the Cultural Tenant's corridor at the east door around
7:30pm. Please have a look and let me know if you recognise the
individual.

As far as I'm aware no-one working up there had visitors and there is no
record of a fob use at this time either.

May I remind all staff to be vigilant about leaving valuables at their
desks overnight and for the last person to leave each office in an evening
to make sure all doors and windows are securely shut.

The PAC entry doors at both ends of the corridor will not shut 100% of the
time unless staff close it firmly each time.

If you have any further questions, please let me know.
