Burgh Angel - The Crane - East End - Eye Presentation and talk to the 
creators of Local news

DIY Education Collective - a growing collective of people using popular 
education to build a movement around anti-poverty and environmental justice

Drawing workshop
Sharpen up your drawing skills do a  portrait of your pal.

GalGael
Craft work, drawing, history, boatbuilding, weaving, metalwork, rope work, 
training - Have a chat about what Galgael do and try out a few craft skills.

Plane Stupid
Describing recent actions by the network of protest groups opposing airport 
expansion and aviation's climate impact.

Games Monitor
Who is watching how the Commonwealth games is affecting out communities? 
The Games Monitor 2014 and the East End Eye. Such as - The east end of 
Glasgow is well known for high levels of unemployment, but what about 
working poverty?

Glasgow Social Centre
GSC who you may have seen at last years Reshuffle have been operating in 
temporary premises in Osbourn Street for about 6 months. Come and find out 
what they have been up to and what they do.

Save Our Baths
Public baths were once a vital part of Scottish urban life. Some are being 
restored but others seem doomed. Why?

After Schools Activities (Will be playing football at the local Elder park.)
ASAP "Our goal is not to bring home a trophy nor to defeat rivals, but to 
mentor our participants to be the best individuals they can be". Find out 
what they are about at a pitch near you.

Cardboard Club
Building things out of cardboard is something no one tires of - from 2 year 
olds up:)

No Mean Streets. Bicycles
An art project about promoting cycling as a means of transport and raising 
awareness of cyclists' issues - whose objectives are to encourage cycling, 
improve the attitudes of other motorists towards cyclists, and hopefully 
improve the proficiency for cycling in Glasgow.

Cathy McCormack
Cathy comes from Easterhouse, You can see her film - talk to her about her 
book and get inspiration from someone whose work and experience is directly 
connected and inspired from a working class background.

Document7 - Documentary film festival.
You can see some highlights from the Young People’s Program and talk to the 
organisers of the biggest Documentary film event in UK.

Open Street Map
OpenStreetMap (OSM) is a collaborative project to create a free editable 
map of the world. We will have a walk and map a bit of Govan.

Badge making
Impact Arts will be making you own design badges

GSF
Build a KNEX Daleks with Glasgow University Science Festival. Experiment 
with a few whacky sciency things

UNITY
Unity will do silk screen printing a flea market and also bring a badge 
machine

Show Us Your Tats
Documenting tattoos. Stories, visuals, interviews, drawings, photos.

Green Gorillaz
A community led project in Maryhill. Met some folk from the Wyndford and 
find out what they are up to on the estate.

Making Bread (and eating it) CAFE (time still to confirm)
Learn how to make bread and never run short again.

Computer suite at the Pearce
There is a computer room at the PI that can be used (with responsibility) 
for IT ideas and demos.

Electron Club
The Electron Club is a voluntary run space where people interested in 
things like free open source software, circuit bending, hardware hacking, 
computer recycling, streaming, audio and video editing, green technologies, 
and amateur radio can meet, use equipment, and share and disseminate their 
skills and ideas.

The PI

The Pearce Institute, affectionately known as the PI, has been at the heart 
of the Govan community since 1906.

The PI is home to a wide range of community groups and social economy 
organisations sharing the common aim of meeting the needs of the people of 
Govan.

With a wide range of accomodation the PI can offer organisations an ideal 
venue for meetings, conferences, social functions, recreational pursuits 
and leisure activities.
