A big hello to new member Colm O'Mahony who says:

Hello! I've been thinking about getting into robotics for a while, as a
long term hobby goal. I think it is such a cool topic incorporating
electronics, programming, physics, art, and materials.
Problem for me is thinking doesn't necessary mean doing, so I was hoping
to join the club to help spur on my interest. I don't plan on being a
information leach, but more a keen doer and learner.
I suppose I'm looking to catylse my general interest! and start some
projects. I have the makings of a good robateer, I hope!
The leccie knitters club would be the group I'd like to get involved with.


Hi Colm,

The leccie knitters have been pretty quiet recently (people finishing
PhDs, having babies and whatnot) but if you want to meet other people
into electronics it might be an idea to drop in on the SOLDER group who
meet every Wednesday at 6pm.
