And talking about viruses.  I just bought a neat little Energiser USB
battery charger from TK Maxx for about 4 quid complete with two 900mAh
AAA cells.  The bit that really caught my attention was that it offers
an on-screen display of battery state if you download the software
from their site.

Unfortunately......   They pulled the software from their site and
discontinued the product when it was discovered that the official
Energiser software carried a trojan which opened a backdoor giving
complete access to XP computers!  :D

So quite a neat charger that does go through the driver request bit
when you plug it into your computer, but can also be run on standard
USB power supplies and seems to be quite a smart charger on its own.
