[ELECTRON] projector

The projector I described which uses a standard 150W lamp is pretty
much based on the Internet plans for making a projector from the guts
of an LCD monitor.

Inside there is typically a standard inductive ballast for the lamp, a
big reflector, lots of cooling and a modest sized LCD panel of the
type that you'd find in LCD picture frames. Add the delightfully
large optical path with big fresnel and glass lenses and you have one
of these very affordable chunky ebay projectors. I think I paid about
200 quid for mine brand new.
