Hi,
sorry for the short notice, but Adrian Bowyer from Bath University,
the father of the RepRap is giving a talk
"RepRap- Manufacturing for the Citizen"

at 2pm on Thursday 10th September at Strathclyde University in Room
402 James Weir Building, Montrose Street,

It is a keynote for a conference that is running in DMEM this week,
http://www.dmem.strath.ac.uk/rem2009/
(but I am sure it would be possible for a few people to
sit at the back just for his talk).
