Scottish Open Source Awards - 2009

Thanks to the generosity of SICSA, we can now announce a Scottish
Student Open Source Award.

The Scottish Open Source Awards 2009 announces The SICSA Scottish Open
Source Award for Students. With a cash prize of £500, the Open Source
Awards is inviting nominations from students in all universities and
colleges in Scotland. To qualify, students should be able to demonstrate
one of the following:

* Innovative use of Open Source Software either in an academic or
commercial context
* Ownership of an Open Source project
* Innovative contributions to an existing Open Source project
* Exemplary advocacy of Open Source software
