friends, lend me your ears . . .

A few of us at the School of Art are developing a project in and around virtual environments in general and Second Life in particular.  

Its really at the conversational stages at the moment, but before we got too far down the road I thought I'd just ask if anyone in the 'local' knows of, or has done anything particularly interesting with any of the virtual games or environs.


We are also looking to amass a collection of 'primary resources', films, texts, articles, events etc that have struck you as interesting regarding the same topics - for or against. 

We aim to gather what we find and do into a shared resource (blog). It will act as a bit of a primer for anyone interested in venturing into SL with their art practice. The goal is to encourage and enable students to engage with the island that the school has purchased as part of this research project.


If anything comes to mind please do share it. 
If you're generally involved in this kind of work or are just generally interested - give me a big hello.
