[ELECTRON] wind turbine DIY

We were discussing schemes to make small wind turbines for the open day. i cant locate the one I was thinking of but this one looks do able :

This is a savonius which looks simple enough to make but doesnt explain how he fixed the generator motor to it. http://www.instructables.com/id/Wind-Powered-Yard-Light/#step0
 
Main needs will be motor and some sort of bearing.
