[ELECTRON] bash CLI USB/FireWire webcam frame graber ~ VideoScript?

Gordon - thanks for that - MEncoder - I'll poke at it more, based on
MPlayer/ffmpeg it looks like.

But it now occurs to me that I may have failed to mention something crucial:

I hadn't wanted to record a video file from the data stream - just open the
camera stream and view it and  intermittently record a jpeg frame grab. Im
fairly sure that a grab out of a preexisting video file could be done with
many of the FFmpg family.
