Glasgow’s own ensemble dedicated to improvisation comes to the RSAMD where they are joined by one of the great creative talents of our time, composer, improviser and revered bass player Barry Guy.

The programme will include the first performance of Guy’s new piece ‘Schweben: Ay, but can ye?’.

The piece is inspired by both Edwin Morgan’s Scottish translation of a Mayakovsky poem and Kandinsky painting.
