week Lucie talks with her neighbour, Mr John Fraser, about his cabin
off the west coast of Scotland, in West Kilbride. Joined by John’s
nephew, Rob Purdon, stories branch further afield to John’s time in
1950’s South America, his attempts at getting published and gold.




Typical contents:
Questions, answers and rememberings in soft Glaswegian; my tending to
southern English accent; nurses talking in the corridor, faint humming
of lights, fingers and feet tapping occasionally on vinyl table tops
and flooring.
